Try since I was 13 or 14.
I'm getting sick and tired of people thinking they have the right to accuse people of crap they know nothing about. For example, just because I decide to do fanart based on the movie doesn't mean that I JUST started liking it. Maybe I'm doing the fanart because I was to pay my respects to the movie and how absolutely amazing it was done. I'm not the only one who's getting accused of this crap either. It just makes me laugh when people think they can judge something without any facts to back it up.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. I hate getting lumped in with all of the newcomers that haven't even read the book.

it's irksome.
People automatically assume that just because you're doing fan art for a movie, all of a sudden it's a fad. They don't even consider the fact that maybe people have been fans for longer than their useless brains think

Now that I've gotten somewhat good at drawing, I still can't put out Watchmen fan art for fear of this. (My age won't help my case either...)
Oh well, at least more people are being introduced to the wonder that is Watchmen! Spread the love!

Yea...I found Watchmen and Philosophy in Borders the other day and it is actually really good! Though...without the movie...that would more than likely never have been published!

I own the Marvel comics and DC comics encyclopedia. Watchmen and Philosophy is the only one left on my list

YES! It is irritating! I mean, Rorschach is my favorite but there have been a lot of fan girl action with both Rorschach and Ozymandias....
I mean, strangely....people are making Watchmen slash....that is just creepy...
